Artykuł dotyczy zagadnienia modernistycznej wrażliwości na autentyczność. Stawia sobie za cel pokazanie trudów towarzyszących poszukiwaniu realności na podstawie refleksji nad doświadczeniami intelektualnymi i pisarskimi Karola Irzykowskiego. Szkic zawiera analizę noweli "Wycieczka w świat daleki", która stanowi przykład tekstu obrazującego dychotomiczny obraz świata w celu jego przekroczenia, ujawnienia złożonej natury rzeczywistości.

Abstract:

The article deals with the issue of a modernist sensitivity to authenticity. It aims to show the hardships accompanying the search for reality, based on reflections on the intellectual and writing experiences of Karol Irzykowski. The sketch contains an analysis of the novel "A trip to the far Word", an example of a text that represents a dichotomous image of the world to cross it and reveal the complex nature of reality.
